Valentine's Day Concert
Tangletown String Band was formed over 15 years ago and we have been playing around town for many years. We have played at Folklife, many bars, cafes, pubs, festivals, farmers markets and private events over the years. We particularly enjoy donating our services for fundraisers for worthy organizations like the Ballard Food Bank, Water for People, and Aurora Commons, among others. We look like a bluegrass band but or repertoire is quite varied borrowing from groups such as the Grateful Dead, the Talking Heads, the Beatles and other often mixing in traditional fiddle tunes. We also play a few originals and feature creative harmonies with four and sometimes five people singing.
